Your inspector
After buying my first home at age 18, I quickly learned the hard way how plumbing and roofing issues can turn into expensive surprises. That early experience sparked a passion for understanding the inner workings of a house—and how to spot trouble before it begins.
In 2025, I stepped away from a successful career in journalism to become a home inspector. As a journalist, I led frontline coverage of major news events all over the United States. My sharp eye for detail and drive for truth now fuel my work as a home inspector. Drawing on my experience as a journalist, I approach home inspections with careful analysis and a commitment to objectivity—providing clear, accurate reports that help homebuyers make informed decisions with confidence.
Over the years, I’ve owned and maintained multiple homes and condos. Through applying relentless curiosity and performing countless hands-on repairs, I’ve built a deep expertise in plumbing, roofing, structural integrity, foundations, and flooring. My formal training includes studying with a New Jersey approved home inspections school, passing the National Home Inspectors Exam, and shadowing other professional home inspectors during their on-site inspections.
I know what can go wrong—and more importantly, how to catch it before it costs you.
